This site is dedicated to Charles Engel , a wonderful father to his children Nicole & Michael, and devoted husband to Marion, caring son to Carlton & Mary, loving brother to Louis, Robert, David (preceded in death), Julia and Dorothy, and champion uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Best friend with his father-in-law George and he was also the best brother-in-law anybody could ever wish for.

We will miss him and think of him everyday, and pray for his peace that he finally found, away from all the pain he suffered from his battle with cancer, and PTSD.

We Miss You Charlie!

Here is a message from a member of the 3rd Recon, following Charlie's passing:

God is now holding him in his arms, relieving his pain and
restoring him with his love. God will bless him and I hope you and his
sister will find comfort in that fact.

Even though Charles is now at his next duty station, all of 3rd Recon will remember him always.
