As the Vikings ratchet up pressure for a new facility, it's important for area taxpayers to remember one thing: You are going to get a new stadium, and you are going to pay for it. The question is: Do you want to open wide and take your medicine now, or do you want to wait until later?

There are arguments to be made both ways. For example, if you opt to wait until later you could be lucky enough to be dead or living out of state when the tax man cometh. Either way, the new facility is going to happen - right or wrong, like it or not.
